Give it a few years Zurab, you'll realise you need money to live - you'll be in a 'boring' job as well, ha ha.

I cleaned toilets to make enough money to get a motorbike when I was a yoof. Boring job... and then I had to clean a toilet filled with shit and blood... that changed me. I got felt up once by an older lady when I was emptying the tampon box out... scary.

Any job can take a turn for the worse is what I'm saying :)

i can relate to that!! Apart from being a postman, i run a vinyl only label and ebay based mail order. Even though i've released stuff including an album by MAYHEM, i am currently about £3,500 shy of what i have paid into my label to what ive got back, although i am selling bits and bobs on a regular basis, and i have lots of stuff still to sell that i traded so i am optimistic that i will be in profit one day. :D

I'm in 2nd year of a Chemistry degree. I get to make stuff with chemicals that are explosive or used in tear gas (or are suspected cancer agents...hmm)... or make superconducting materials which when cooled to -200 degrees cause a magnet to levitate above them.
Or cooling chocolate down to -78 degrees before chomping it outside of the lab.

I did work in a health food store over summer, serving mainly old people. I don't like vitamins and herbs, but it was ok.

Zurab musician isnt a job that will even bring you an income. Even bands like Enslaved, hugley popular in the US and europe...they all still have to get part time jobs to pay bills.

Working sucks, i need a job to fund my festival run for the summer. I wanna go to 5 or 6 fests but i know its going to end up as 2....ffs....i need a job..

Hire me, i have long hair, like metal and turn into any form of paper animal you may want... (last bit may not be true) am willing to do anything to make some spare cash over next 3 months except work in Burger king or Mc Donolds...KFC would be a possibility...as would Burger king aslong as i didnt have to be on tills or cook...i would clean...:D

Enslaved are hardly hugely popular, and lots of bands don't need jobs, they're just wusses who are afraid of Noodles and toast.

first thing our college tutor told us on the first day was 'we are not going to teach you how to become famous, and live a celebrity lifestyle, we are going to teach you how to put food on the table and be able to live in a warm house'.

That is actually an excellent idea. What festivals did you do that at?

I spent 4 years studying music technology many moons ago, but I still ended up working in a bank, so let that be a lesson to you all.

I now work for Bank of America (who own MBNA) as a SAS programmer/reporting analyst in the Internet Marketing dept. It's alright I suppose.
