Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Re: DECEPTOR CD Launch w/ CRYPSIS + DISFAGO - 2nd July
ths gig was amazing. such a huge turnout and a bit of a forumer re-union too.
the support bands were good and drew good corwds and decent responses.
Deceptor were amazing.it really felt like an epic event and a definite launch "party".was cool to hear some old,new and current tracks.James splitting a drum was really rock and roll...shame it belonged to another band haha.the crowd was HUGE! it was one of those unicorn gigs where the floor area was shrunk right down and filled to the brim.moshing throughout and lots of people singing along, myself included,(now that weve studied the ep )
and lets not forget one of the other highlights..."the dancers/actresses aka blood orgy strippers.
now that was a pleasant surprise and for the first time ever all of the usual homo-eroticism at these male dominated gig was completely erased.HURRAH!
im sure some of the underage youngsters boxers felt tighter after seeing those babes.
it gave Deceptor the image of true badasses and rock and roll legends, babes, beer, blood, metal etc.
its cool they got a new drum so that they could continue the onslaught.
they even had a smoke machine
one of the coolest things i saw was some of the youngsters buying the ep and getting autographs.that made me shed a tear of joy for the band who deserve all these new fans.
i bought myself the demo and will be blasting that on my way to meet my gf from her work to go for a chinese buffet(the perfect post-gig cure)
i will try and youtube the 3bands at some point today.i just need to make sure i dont lose my youtube account/follow guidelines when putting up the naughty boys and girls in the Deceptor clip.stay tuned...
anyway a really massive success last night in every aspect. i love the unicorn.

Re: DECEPTOR CD Launch w/ CRYPSIS + DISFAGO - 2nd July
Definitely a great night, first gig in quite a while and it was amazing. Didn't see either Crypsis or Disfago, but the night was really only about Deceptor. From the "dancers" to the fake blood, blistering metal, (maybe not so) wanton gear destruction, smoke machines, and not forgetting the aviators! True metal.
Was great to see some familiar faces as well, bring on Mercyful Summer Fete!
