Have a drive over to Montreal before Winter sets in. Cracking place.
Anybody warned you about the Winter weather yet ? Toronto is very similar to what we get in Chicago. When I first came here I asked people at work how cold it got. "We get quite a few zero degree days" was the answer. Piece of piss, I thought. Once we got into Winter I realised they were talking Fahrenheit, not Celsius. Nowt like walking out of your front door on a nice -15F (or -26C) morning. The cold hits you like a slap in the face. And your nose hairs literally freeze in your nostrils when you breathe in. But you get used to it. A bit.

I'm planning to do a bit of a travelling around Eastern Canada and stuff probably in spring now, as the money has been sapped just living in this bloody expensive place in the last few weeks... Yeah, the cold is drawing in right now, for the first three weeks, it was amazing weather and really hot, apparently after a really wet summer.. I dread to think what it's gonna get like.. really need to get a big coat.
