Ahh, what a marvellous announcement. Means I can see both Maiden's Powerslave Revival Tour thingy and all the great metal of Wacken without bankrupting myself and/or attending a shoddy British festival purely to see Maiden. I won't be letting out the liquids quite as much as jonny, but if they play Alexander the Great, I will probably urinate out of shock.
Have they said exactly what albums they're playing songs from? Is it just Powerslave, Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, or...?

I have a small feeling that they may include Live After Death rather than NPFTD in the next four albums, so they can cheat and get Number of the Beast, Iron Maiden and Hallowed Be Thy Name on the setlist...
But if they do include NPFTD what does that mean? That the history tour part 3 will be songs from Fear Of The Dark and the Blaze albums? Because that would seriously be one of the worst tours ever.

its a great start to the 08 lineup but its early days for me to say whether i'll go again or not, went last year and i loved it, i'm going this year and i'm sure i'll love it again but i still wish i went to hellfest instead this year, the lineup was much better but i hadn't even heard of it until i had allready booked wacken.
