I've got a tape player at the side of the computer,so I can play all my old tapes, but let's be honest here,cd's are a fuck of a lot better!

Price????

Tapes are cheaper than CDs
Tapes can be fixed with sellotape if they snap. Sitting on CDs makes them crunch.
You can pile tapes up as a shield against nuclear fallout (though it has to be those really old lead lined ones. Dubbed with Voivod to be sure...) With a CD, you can't even hold back an anal breeze.

CDs are surely cheaper than tapes? :? Theyre also better quality and can be ripped to a computer for everyone that doesn't want to pretend theyre in the 80s ( ) The artwork is also larger and the booklet inside more extensive. Releasing it only on tape restricts the amount of people who will buy it and therefore goes against the aim of getting exposure to bands all for the sake of being pretentiously "old skool"

To be honest, I'd much rather be old school than practical.

I'll preorder one if you agree to pop a CDR in the post as well. That way you get to live the analog dream and I get to actually listen to the music!

That sounds like a sensible idea. I have the Dr Death EP only on tape and I keep thinking I need the CD because I set can only listen to it on the shitty music thing that's downstairs. Long tings indeed.
