The last (and first) time I saw Metallica was at Reading 2003. And I have to say, it was absolutely fucking amazing. The last thing I expected was for them to come out and play Battery and Master of Puppets as the first two songs! One was just unbelievable, all the bloody fireworks at the beginning with the gunfire bit, and when that riff came on I just wanted to bloody cry. And indeed, they only played two St Anger songs, which was quite hilarious and also shit. But basically it was really amazing. I don't think I could be bothered to do see them again though now, especially not for 50 quid and with those awful support bands. It's bloody ridiculous! Next thing you know it we'll have Judas Priest supported by Lil' Chris.

Yeah, I saw wm in 03. Best bit was when they played Blitzkrieg, probably more for the shock value over anything else. Still, they don't get Blitzkrieg to support them thugh do they? Cunts...

At that gig I had seating tickets and managed to sneak through to standig with my bro, however his mate didn't make it and I went back for him. Would have been better in standing. I still enjoyed myself, mind. That's why I was kind of up for this. Fuck it though. Metallica live should not be an endurance contest.

Further proof , if any was needed, that Metallica are now a massive bunch of cunts.
I only saw them once, at Donnington in 1994. Since then they've been too gay.
I killed Reanimator.

I don't know what you're laughing at, Lil' Chris has supported Heretic.

No, I'm afraid I'm not joking.
