The best place to look is the RM website as any vacancies are advertised on there, however, be aware that when i applied for my job, there were 128 applicants for it
All new jobs are now only part time (usually 22 hours), although there is a possibility to move to a higher contract later should a bigger job become vacant. I am also pretty sure that the pension scheme was altered after i joined and new recruits dont enjoy this benefit now. Still, like i have said previously, after the inital training period (6 months), the wage is £8.12 per hour, plus approx 5p per house per week for delivering an extra 3 pieces of unsolicited mail (compulsary). It is by far the best and easiest job ive ever had, and i have the biggest walk in our depot (1067 houses) and loads of stairs n shit.

I saw some trollop on the local news last nite who was part of a picket line in the west mids, and she was bleating on about the pay and conditions being a postie, and the one thing that really fucks me off is when a postie drones on about having to deliver in the rain and snow. If you are adverse to getting wet and cold, go and get a job sat on your fat arse in a nice office somewhere, dont get a job where you have to walk about outside you stupid fuck :wall: and i have to say by the size of her, she didnt walk half as far or as fast as she probably should have either!! Ive been a postie for 15 months now, and there hasnt been a single day when i have considered it bad enuff to wear anything other than a shirt (on my top before you comment). If its cold, walk a bit faster and you warm up :D

We once had some in our lab who didn't like the sight of blood. Bit silly really as the job entails nothing but doing blood tests.

We once had a guy come in who wasn't into slagging off other bands. He lasted a day.

I can tell you already.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
