Hey up folks, I've just followed the link from the Terrorizer website and figured I'd join up seeing as how Thrash is the genre I grew up with and enjoy the most.
I'm Animal, and for the most part, I'm an old-school Thrash/Death metal guy - I got into it in the mid-80's when everything was really getting going and never looked back.
I've been a drummer on and off for about 12 years, mostly playing general metal or bluesy stuff (my old band CopperBomb played a few bike rallies 'til health issues meant we had to put things on hold) and currently I'm just jamming with Nemesis from Manchester, hopefully with a view to filling the slot permanently.

How do, I'm steve and got into thrash again through the new wave of ols school bands like municipal. Love my Grindcore and death metal not to mention Prog and a few other snippets. Grew up with early grind, death metal and NWOBH, listened to alot of .. Dare i say it grunge too in my teens, i think it was just the done thing back then. Luckily my mate ironed me out again though and reminded me it was pretty pittifull!
Loving the scene again and lapping up all thrash like the whore i am. I'm Also a speedy guitarist when i'm allowed to be and collect the odd bit of guitar porn as well as being a reviewer for jemsite. I've played in bands with Animal who's at the top of this page and regularly visit gigs with him. So no guesses how and why i joined!
Its great to see good thrash back again and i'm stock piling tight black jeans and high tops just incase you can't get get them!!
