It's certainly do-able coz Wakefield has an open air stage at Clarence Park.

I messaged Violator cause when I spoke to their guitarist in Belgium he said the might be coming back to Europe in 2010. I didn't get a response!

As for other bands, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable getting someone like Venom(!) cause I'm quite an amatuer like. Open air would be cool but yeah that might take more effort. Bigger venue would be good too, the great thing about the Snooty Dog though is that Malc the sound guy sorts out all the bands and shit, and due to having no experience I don't know if other venues do the same???? Anyone got some advice?

I think I'd be happy with a band like Gama Bomb to play, but as for the other bands it's like I've said there's so many to choose from! And I wouldn't want to keep it too similar to this year, but at the same time the bands were all amazing!!!

I'm thinking venue wise, if we go with somewhere diferent I would want it in a bigger city/town, like Leeds or Sheffield, just because it's easier for poeple to get to then. And somewhere with a Travelb Lodge near it!!!! haha.

If you did Sheffield you could go for Corporation or Casbah. Pretty good venues really.

As for bands, get Mutant and Motorhead. And White Hazzard.

which probs isnt running this year, but was a huge success the previous years from what people told me. That last year had cloven hoof and pagans alter headlining didnt it, and that was just set up in some rugby pitch!

So venue wise it has to either be moved to London or moved to leeds or sheffield i would say. Wakefeild while a great venue, is way to much outta the way

I think it's quite cool to have a big event that's actually not in London though.
