Hey guys heres a bit of info about my band Eradikator and a link to a track off our debut album (http://soundcloud.com/eradikator/hells-sentinels). we are looking for more shows to support the release of our album, so if your putting on any gigs give us a shout.

Cheers

ERADIKATOR have set a release date of the 18th April for their debut album “Dystopia.”

Dystopia is the Debut release from Birmingham Thrashers ERADIKATOR, and forms a punishing assault of stomping riffs, whirlwind solo’s, Driving Bass, spellbinding drums and gutsy vocals. Released a full 2 years after forming the band the guys say, “We spent over a year writing this record and a year recording it to make sure that it would blow peoples minds. We’re all a bit obsessive when it comes to creating music for Eradikator. We don’t like to compromise anything.” Andy MacNevin - Guitarist

The band’s influences are as broad as it comes and range from 70’s Rock to Death Metal to Blues to Thrash, and the broad range of musical appreciation amongst the band members really shows through, especially on tracks like “Odysseus” and “Judgement Before the Throne.” Lyrically, Dystopia touches upon various themes including the state of the world politically, socially and environmentally but always tries to take a light-hearted and sometimes-comical approach.

Eradikator is comprised of Pat Cox on Bass and Vocals, Andy MacNevin on Guitars, Liam Priest on Guitars and Jon MacNevin on Drums and the band came together through a mutual love of all things rock ‘n’ roll and Heavy Metal. “The sound we try and achieve in Eradikator is spawned from the 70’s Rock and 80’s Thrash bands we love. We’re trying to take their musical ideals, such as punishing intensity, intriguing melody and balls out speed, and create our own breed of Heavy Metal.” Eradikator

Eradikator will be touring the UK extensively throughout 2012 in support of Dystopia taking any and all shows they can get their hands on looking to punish audiences everywhere they go. After the success of their one off track “Skeletal Steel” recorded for Terrorizer’s Grindhouse Unsigned CD, their live performances for the Terrorizer Grindhouse shows and all the positive reviews on Onemetal, Terrorizer, Suite101 and so on Eradikator will undoubtedly be performing somewhere near you in the not so distant future.

Dystopia was recorded, mixed and mastered at Hellfire Studios in the band’s hometown of Birmingham, UK with Ajeet Gill.

Kind of sounds like justice / black album era metallica. I mean the vocals sound a LOT like Hetfield. After a quick listen, I'd say It's better than anything Metallica put out in the last 20 years though!

Kemakil played with these guys at Scruffy Murphy's last year, and I was really blown away by them. Must get the album! And someone must get these guys down to the unicorn!
