Yup, you've done exceptionally well against us in every semi we've played recently. In fact, your record is 100%
Fuck. My. Old. Boots.
Incredible.
What a match. Arsenal played us off the park for the first twenty minutes and we couldn't even string one pass together let alone the twenty that the gooners were managing. The goal changed everything. We dug in (still without looking threatening) and grabbed a great equaliser. Senderos is going to have nightmares about that one for months.
Torres, bless his little impish looks bangs in number two and the game only looks to be heading one way. Arsenal under siege and unable to breakout of their own goalmouth until Walcott comes on and absolutely fucking destroys our defence.
It's well documented that I don't think Walcott's any good. Well, over the last few months, my opinion of the little Lewis Hamilton lookalikey has changed considerably. What a player. Four against one and it's all down to him. Amazing (although I must admit to not caring much for him at the moment the equaliser went in).
Now, to the crucial part...
In my eyes it was a penalty (surprise fucking surprise say the gooners). Toure jumped all over Babel's back and there was enough pressure there to warrant him falling over. You see them given virtually every week - although, however, so are the ones that Kuyt did on Hleb last week. I cannot deny that by not giving Arsenal the penalty last week and giving us one tonight, we have been massively lucky in that respect. However, if last week's incident had never happened, I don't think there would be anywhere near as much fuss as tonight's.
After Stevie put away the penalty, there looked to be only one outcome and, luckily, this time it played out the way it looked. Babel on the break and game over.
Both teams tonight played their hearts out and their legs off (How Kuyt is even still able to stand up is a mystery to me). Arsenal have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of (not that they would be anyway). Their total football game simply had to give way to desperation football at times, as did ours. But the game was played in the right spirit (Flamini was the only player tonight to get arsey) and both sets of players can look back at a great night and a game worthy of the Champion's League. In fact, in many ways, tonight's game felt more like a semi-final that a quarter.

I just hope this time it's a bit more entertaining than the usual binary number scores or penalty shootouts our two teams usually churn out.

Christ, why does every game we have in Europe result in me feeling like I'm having seven simultaneous heart attacks! Last nights game was a perfect example of why I love footy, that and I like men in shorts...
I remember a Nirvana tune, 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' As much as I like Kurt Cobain. I can't have people like that coming over here, on smack, fucking saying that they hate themselves and they wanna die. That's fucking rubbish. Kids don't need to be hearing that non-sense.

Carlisle are a clear six points ahead, and have better goal difference. Ladies, we're getting promoted!

Safe to say that Forest aren't gonna catch you now after last nights shambles.

Can't say I seen it. I wouldn't expect Forest to anyway, Doncaster is our only competition.

We've still got a chance of getting our points back through arbitration, which is taking place in the next few weeks. If we do, we're pushing Carlisle right out of that promotion place. If that happens, well...

Dodgy one all draw at home to Bristol Rovers.Had we won that, and Forest old boy Scott dobie hadn't scored for you in the last minute on Saturday it might have been a bit more interesting, but we're just waiting to see who we get in t'play offs now.

Looking into this whole Leeds getting -15 points thing for the first time. It's absolutely appauling. Leeds should get those points back, even if it fucks Carlisle over. The game should be played fair, at all times.
