Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament
What are you going to do with all the console gear afterwards, if you're heading to the gig?
Also, it is actually totally possible to walk from this pub to Angel - it would take around 35 minutes.
It's easy to do, as long as it doesn't turn into a big drunken UK Thrash Street Fighter match for real!

Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament
not sure yet, thats the last thing i gotta sort.i was gonna see if i could leave it with someone who may be coming to this but not sabbat or if not then i will see about asking the owner if he could look after it then pick it up whenever.but hey,i got 2 months to hopefully sort something.
unless someone has a spare car boot i can lock it i during gig?
yeah we could recreate final fight/streets of rage on the tube, all wearing various denim/hoodies/leathers etc and carrying broken vodka bottles and steel pipes.
i hope my control pads stay intact if any1 loses the odd match.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Street Fighter franchise, even more reason for the tournament!

Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament
cool site, yeah i musta been 10-12years old when the early 90s craze was in full effect.the machine found its way in most of my small towns takeaways/videoshops.
the videoshop at end of my road even made a games room outback complete with 2pinball machines,2pool tables,sf2,super mario, primal rage(cak) and donkey kong.now its only has the pool tables, settee and a t.v these days and no more jukebox with rhythm is a dancer/no limit etc anymore
me and my2 younger bros were blessed as megadrive kids(i was 6yrs old).
i took any opportunity to go 2the lad down the roads and any schoolmates houses to play sf2 when it came out.
the only sticker album i ever completed was the panini sf2 album when i was in year 4/5(back in the day)
safely stored in my loft(no it wont be the prize by the way)
anyway im going on a bit..................cant wait!

Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament
I had that sticker album when I was younger, I was missing one sticker, that is probably the reason for my recent obsession with the franchise now.

Re: Streetfighter 2 tournament
yeah i was missing one sticker too(even after ordering 24 with the panini offer/form)but i convinced my mate to peel the 1 out of his which i needed.it was a tricky job but worth doing.it was in the e.honda/blanka bite move(bottom right corner to be precise)
remember those toys and other nintendo stuff advertised on the inside cover.(that ryu shirt)looked so cool.if i had been a few years older with a paper round or somrthin i woulda definately owned that whole page.
i got vega/dhalsim broaches one birthday too.yes broaches! ideal for a denim but would probably fall off

Yeah, i had a megadrive so it was all Mortal Kombat and Sonic for me.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
