Aye, Johnny Marr is a great guitarist. The Smith's were a really good band. Jeff Buckley is pretty damn good too.

pity kirk didn't write it, then it might have contributed to the debate!

i hate wyld for some reason, I can't quite make it out. You can't really hate hammett, he's quiet, timid and does what the other members tell him

These exact characteristics in people is what makes me hate them.

I much prefer people who are loud, boisterous and who act almost exclusively on impulse. It makes life so much more hilarious.

I'm listening to 1919 Eternal right now properly for the first time since I bought it (round christmas time) and i'm really enjoying it.

Plus, I never thought much of Hammet as a player.

Actually got on stage with the man himself and did vocals(with a few other folks) on "Talk dirty to me" and "Look what the cat dragged in" when his band Samantha 7 played rock city a few years ago supporting Great white.I'd had a few drinks mind you.
So anyway, although I rate the "Pride and Glory" cd it's still K H for me all the way.And has anyone seen the recent live shots of that goon Matt heafy, his the spitting image of young Kirk in the "Master " days.

I prefer Zakk, although he does overuse pinch harmonics BIG TIME!
But no more than Hammet overuses the wah pedal.

Plus, if you got in a fight, Zakk is pretty fucking big, so he could help you out...
