Re: UKThrash Web Store?
It's in progress at the moment, hopefully it should be finished within the next month - I just need to get the donkey work of the admin side done so that I can just code up the front-end

Marvellous. I will be buying lots of shit at the end of January. Need to top up my UK Thrash collection.

Re: UKThrash Web Store?
Just to update - I've got a few free days now until the end of the week - had two exams in two days - so I can hopefully get things moving very soon
The ideal test is 'real' band details, so if anyone who's interested can PM me or email me (craig@cwatson.org) their details (as per the bottom of page 1) I'll use them as test material - I won't actually place any orders though - I don't have the monies!

I will keep wait for it
I think it's much better and easier for me to get and discover new UK bands and their releases

Re: UKThrash Web Store?
Another update guys, I really need some test data for the store, as I only have Seregon's BigCartel items at the moment - I need to test listing multiple bands.
The store is coming along really nicely, all being well it should be online towards the end of next week

And now we've sold out of Megalolz deals... any updates that I make to the Big Cartel will be reflected on the UK Thrash Webstore right?

Nope, that's one downside - they're two seperate stores so you'll have to tell us as well when things go out of stock

Re: UKThrash Web Store?
In a kind-of answer to James' question about stock, I've decided to alter the store implementation slightly to make it easier to manage (both for me/James and bands) in the long-run. The new format is that once new items have been added, they can be edited by a nominated member of the band (this member needs to have a forum account). That way the band themselves can edit the "out of stock" toggle and the item info without the overhead of having to ask either myself of James to do it for them.
Upshot is that it will take a bit longer to get the store running - I'd estimate at mid-Feb at the earliest - but this could change depending on university workload. I want it to be done ASAP to leave things clear for dissertation and finals in May .
Sorry to get people's hopes up - it's definitely a work in progress, just a logistical nightmare!
