heres another tv based annoyance.
the announcer bloke on sky, why does he have to say a shit one liner when a programme ends? theyre never funny and theyre fucking annoying because you can tell he only saw the last few seconds of the programme. it's pointless banter, why doesn't he just get on with announcing the next programme?
and another thing, why do sky repeat gladiators so many times? i didnt watch it the first time and im not going to watch it the other 99 times you show it!

I've said it before but I strongly recommend anyone who finds Scrubs funny to watch My Name Is Earl. Not only is it genuinely funny, by American standards; it's moral overtones are also better than those featured in Scrubs. Nadine Velazquez, Alyssa Milano and, to a lesser extent, Jamie Pressly also make it much more worth while than Scrubs.

Futurama is brilliant, you tit! I'm not going to say that it's just outright better than the Simpsons because that would be unfair. The beauty of Futurama was that, until they went to Comedy Central and started putting out these fucking shite straight-to-DVD films, it had been cancelled and was limited to four seasons in perpetuity. This meant that, unlike the Simpsons, it couldn't have continued for more than ten years since it became tripe. Futurama probably has the most developed characters of any of the big animated comedies going too.
As for Lost, I also love it. I could never really get into the X Files or 24 because I kept missing episodes and just don't like Heroes so Lost has been the only one of the things I could get into big time. Saying that, the Season 4 finale was a bit shit. I will stick with it until it ends in 2010 though.

I watched that for about 10 hours the other day because my brother is into anything that involves black people, for some reason. I thought there were one or two funny moments. The patriarch of the family is basically the only funny part of the show. He did a 'You are wrong and I am right' song that I need to learn for future reference.
