I do think though, that part of being a Metal Warrior, is falling in love with the METAL POWER and getting into it hook, line and sinker... I'm 34 and no longer dress like a heavy metal golf club like i used to when i was a teen in the 80's with Hi-tech boots, nor a death metal grunger in the 90's with Army Boots and regulation lumberjack shirt... i wear the occasional surfy top and i love me some discreet polo shirts... but y'know i still gots plenty of stoner and thrash shirts i wear all the time.

denying the METAL that FLOWS in my VEINS just to get straight chicks, or even worse cutting my hair... it's just not right. I cut my hair and after 3 years i just didn't feel myself (ahem) so i grew it again...

the only problem i have with women is I'm a fussy bastard and fearful of commitment!!!  i do okay despite being a middle class office working METAL OVERLORD

I'll wager that in 5 years time you wont like METAL and will be listening to jazz guitar and will say 'yeah I like Slayer but Metal's bollocks really'. I know I have a mate who plays mean guitar, toured with Desecration, supported Deicide at LA2 and says exactly those things! now he only likes Al Dimeola and Shakin Stevens. He Hath Forsaken METAL!!!

Wearing certain clothes to pull girls is gay. Pulling girls dressed as a metaller, now that's proving yourself.

I couldn't give a shit what you dress like or what you play to be honest. I don't see myself as a "metal fan" I'd say I'm a music fan, so as long as you enjoy playing the music you play what the fuck else matters?

unearth are mental. don't they have gene the machine on drums??

why do i wear jeans and metal shirts? cos that's the only fuckin clothes i have!! and i ain't paying more than £10 for any clothes, it's only bits of material sewn together (joining heads... heh), what if they get muddy or ripped or fall apart, it doesn't matter cos it were cheap as fuck!! just get a new one haha plus band shirts most usually have cool artwork and logos on them, much better than any trendy clothes with the 'worn' look ie- it's been ripped before you buy it new (wtf?) plus all the casual shirts are gay colours

hahaha yeh

even if I did buy 'nice' clothes I'd end up fucking them up and having the buy new stuff every couple of months.

On a side note..where do people buy there jeans? Whenever I try and buy some they are either like 50 quid, a really spazzy fit or they just shrink after a few washes...

Get em cheap from TK Maxx or something, they are decent quality, just got slight marks or defects on them or something. And if you rip em up, it doesn't matter, because they're cheap.

Or charity shops. Metal.

Next.

I bought some walking trousers yesterday (yeah, trousers for walking in) and the seller asked me if I was interested in his other auction for some jeans. So I looked, and they are 'gay fit' jeans.

Gay Fit? EH? I told him with stern voice, nay lad, naaaay a do not want yer bloody gay fit jeans! Can you believe there is a gay fit style of jean?
