true, snooty fox is one of the best venues in the country we've played well over 50 differnt venues now, proberly nearer a 100 and there are very few that come close to snooty fox, the sound the lighting, the dvd thats filmed on like 6 cameras, and just the genral crowd and atmosphere make it a top venue. If there any thrash bands that havent played there yet, get down there, you'll be guranteed a crowd if you tell people and post on the forums as wakefield is one of the only citys in england where masses of people go out to support underground music. :rockdevil:

The winner of the Judgement Day competition was Ruth Woodrow
(Black Rose) who gets 2 free tickets to the show.

Thanks to all who took part, and for those who were unlucky enough not to win, a reminder that tickets are available now at the reduced price of £10 in advance( plus fees) from http://www.seetickets.com

This is a bargain considering the price will be £15 on the door

and as an added bonus, anyone who books an advance ticket will be entitled, on presentation of the stub, to a free compilation cd of all Judgement Day bands, on the day itself.

So its well worth booking in advance 8)

New songs of the next Album will be performed for the first time ever!!!

DON’T MISS THEM FOR ANY REASON!!!!
Even if you’d eventually be dead in those days, you should rise back from Hell to get the gigs!!!

NB: Unfortunately, the gig on the 19th in Hull has been cancelled due to the closure of the venue.

We have just had news in that, due to an unfortunate illness, Total Resurrection will not now be playing Judgement Day,

But we are pleased to be able to annnounce that we have drafted in Scavenger 's Daughter to play at the last moment.
Their track Boiling Point is already featured on the JD compilation CD, so its an ideal solution, and we are very pleased to have them.

If you havent heard any of their stuff, check them out at

http://www.myspace.com/scavengersdaughteruk

" Taking their name from the medieval torture device invented during the reign of Henry VIII, and reknowned for it crushing, and crippling capabilities, Scavengers Daughter burst into life in the late fall of 2005.

The group was born out of the ashes, of a British metal band called SYRUS, a vocalist, Coll Matraves formerly with British metallers MEGGIDO/SENTINAL, and bassist Adam Aldridge formerly of TUNDRA, all of which had gained some notoriety over the years.

Scavengers Daughter, comprises of 5 metal mad geezers, who were brought together by the driving, hunger, lust (and booze) to play and hear heavy, powerful, melodic metal, the way it used to be... ripping up the stage and putting on a show, in true metal style, and having a laugh at the same time.

Growing up on a diet of the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Pantera, even little old Spinal Tap (lol), etc... to name but a few, gives you a glimpse of what this unit is striving for, and this band is the result of their own blood, sweat, tears, smells and bad habits all put together in the molten melting pot of everything they love about the whole heavy metal music genre.

Which ever way you look at it Scavengers Daughter is a band that believes in metal, metal and more metal.... oh yeah, and beer, JD, etc... "
