wicked, see you lot there innit Twisted Evil I want onje of those snazy t-shirts, the singer from STD was wearnig one at the bar monsta show aswell..
will there be a new one for this years Metalbrew?

That was me and yes I was wearing a Brew shirt. I named the bastard as well. AND I am the MC. So basically this is my event. What happens is I get really drunk and quite naked and run around to a load of great music.

In all seriousness, it is a quality event. We have put it on the last three years and it just keeps getting better. This year is going to great fun and the line up will be as strong as it is varied. Kill people to be there It's worth it. Mention this website and you'l get a free pint of Metal Brew - the most potent drink that ca be distributed in pints.

It's madness really, there're a billion bands on this forum that we'd love to play, I think we're just going to have to spread you all out over the next few years! Basically we want to keep the day quite varied in terms of metal styles, and we also want to put on a few bands local to the area (which was the whole point of starting it up really, a showcase of lovely local talent as well as bringing something great to the local area), so there may only be one or two thrash bands. We've already got Mutant confirmed, so if anyone else on here asks to play and we say no, don't worry, it'll be more like a 'no for this year but probably definitely one day soon' rather than a 'no forever, how dare you'.

The other potentially great thing is that eventually we want to put on regular 'Mini-Brews' (I came up with that name Caps, you can't take all the credit!), basically lovely little gigs around the world full of metal glory in order to raise money for Metalbrew and raise its profile, and also so we can get more involved with all sorts of bands and such, and put on gigs with all the great bands we love who we didn't have room for on the Metalbrew bill. This'll probably start happening after the next Metalbrew, hopefully. It'd be great to get more involved with the UKThrash fun, this whole scene is so great, and has the same sort of attitude as we have towards great music and metal fun times.

The real great thing though, is that what Caps said is true - come to Metalbrew and you're guaranteed to see Caps naked and running around like a drunken madman. It's a wonderful thing.

Yeah! Metalbrew! Basically, I manage to take all the credit because I had money to pay for the first year and ordered all the shit we needed. And I sang with Firestorm because their singer was away, so now everyone thinks I'm in a band as well. But I'm not in a band. I can't sing. And I don't put any more work into Metalbrew now than anyone else in the brew crew. I'm basically a liar and a cheat. But I don't care, so people can carry on calling me the organiser and asking me how the band is. Great.

It's the hardest thing in the world to chose bands to play when there's so many of you out there! On the plus side, it means we can make sure we always get awesome bands to play and hopefully have a nice variety. This year should be the best yet. I like the idea of mentioning this site for a free pint of metalbrew Caps.

It is very hilarious indeed, well done, I too enjoy this hilarious treat for the face.

Isn't metalbrew (the drink) free for anyone anyway? Does this mean we're going to start charging for it unless you mention this website? What the hell is this, bloody capitalism? Unbelievable!

No you bum, we're just gonna have to make sure we have a vat for the UK thrashers. We normally only make a couple of jugs of it.

An update for your face, Crowning Glory are now confirmed for the bill. They played last year as well, and they were bloody amazing. They really are unbelievable, you better listen to them now or you might die.

Their myspace is probably http://www.myspace.com/crowningglory

Also, they're playing at the Underworld on Friday 30th March i believe, supporting Mendeed. It'll be well worth going to see them if you are a fan of metal. Which, if you are here, I assume you are.

Metal to you all.
