No support bandhas been confirmed as a replacement to the show and I doubt now that another band will so it looks like just Suicidal tendencies and us! Gig is all going ahead. also i dont have to drive anymore as we have a van so whos getting the beers in?

This gig was so amazing.Suicidal are legends! it was cool to have my mummy join me.
and wicked to finally see and check out Shrapnel at last, they are a great band and really have potential and are defo ones to watch out for.they are climbing in the right direction on the circuit.
after a year or so of underground style gigs it was nice to be in a 1100 capacity crowd with a well respected awesome band.such a buzz and mad crowd.
Mike Muir is a great frontman and really knows how to pump up a crowd and they all really can put on a show.
even though Mike would waffle here and there like the americans can sometimes have a habit of doing, all his anecdotes were interesting, relevant and humerous so it was cool.
he isnt full of himself, theres a difference.
he is full of confidence and believes in himself.
just when i thought the choice of medium to small london gigs were getting few and far between it was nice to see that thrash will never go away despite the odd few bands coming and going or moving onto larger scale events etc over the last year or so.
anyway heres the clips on my new camcorder. the picture quality is much better than the previous camera.
the audio was done with a clip on mic designed for a laptop/skype etc(aka being 1 or 2 feet away)
i thought it would still be better than the built in mic but after watching stuff back today i realised it was not ideal for live music hence the distorted/rumbling audio.
i should have experimented and took the external mic off for 1 or 2 clips but didnt think.also the memory cards fill fast on HD quality so i couldnt be too experimental.
trial and error i suppose.next gig i will try the built in mic.im sure it will be more balanced.
if it still turns out below average then i will invest in a better clip on boom mic.

Thanks for filming dude!
Death and Eternal War were the only 2 songs our new drummer fluffed a bit but it doesn't look half as bad as we thought! what a first show for him!
We had a great night, great crowd and the suicidal guys were ultra nice guys! Never been in the ballroom before, amazing venue. loved it!
