My point is that you dont know what a ballad is- proven by you only quoting metal bands in your examples of ballads that have been written (you still havent given me a proper example i.e. an actual song)

And it is much harder to write a classic ballad than it is to write a slow, boring thrash metal song.

Name me one thrash metal song that is as slow as "Now Demolition" that is actually good....
