Ok I may have been lying; the above was a bastardisation of a post someone made on the seregon forum about 2 years ago.
Seregon (despite being named after some pansy flower) are fecking awesome and the ep is pretty immense. Their being on the lineup would make a great gig better.

Agreed, the My Space bulletin was probably a bad idea, apologies.

what i want to know is will all these people be comming to wakefield. Seriously i am looing forward to both seregon and sekhmet playing judging by the votes so far. Mind you it could all change but not looking likely though.

I think this method of choosing bands is grossly unfair. Why don't you pick the bands yourself by judging their long term popularity via a range of sources, listen to the bands and make an impartial judgement?
It's a bit of a joke if bands get picked for big events such as FTA just because they asked their mates to vote for them on a forum poll.

this kind of poll caused 10 kinds of sh*t on the Bloodstock forum a few years ago, when a band that the organisers didnt want to play ended up winning an unofficial poll.
Exactly the same thing happened on the Ragnarock forums too when they did it.
You end up getting loads of random people signing up just to vote for their chums.
Now Im not saying that Seregon and Sekhmet shouldnt play FTA, far from it, both bands would be a great addition to the line up.
But it causes bad feeling and pits bands against each other in competition, when they should be concentrating on the event itself.
