Oh and I too was also very disappointed with The Right To Go Insane - such a good title, such a boring song that just doesn't live up to what the title has given the song the right to do.

i think this album is a pretty strong one and is defiantly ticking most of the boxes of what im looking for in a megadeth album,it has the speed, groove, riffs and some brillant solos.

i never knew much about broderick before this release, but his presence on the album has given it a fresh feel and some of his solos are pretty insane!

all in all not a bad album

1320,44 minutes, dialetic chaos and this day we fight are my favs.

Me bird bought this yesterday, after the first 10 mins of solos i could not find anything on that album that dave aint done already, i think its boring and his voice is hilarious at best, yeah its got energy but thats all , songs aint memorable and he is just relying on broderick to "raise the bar dooood"

shut it

Nothing Dave has done compares to how amazing the music is from the Hydrocity Zone on Sonic 3.

Probably old news but...

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has commented on the interview he gave to Norway's Lydverket blog on August 7, 2009 at the Langham Hotel in London, England in which he spoke at length about his brief tenure as the guitarist in METALLICA. A video report (see below) containing excerpts from the chat was posted on the Lydverket web site on Wednesday (October 14) and was published on BLABBERMOUTH.NET yesterday.

In a post on MEGADETH's official forum from early this morning (Friday, October 16), Mustaine writes regarding the Lydverket interview, "These people are scum. Don't listen to their interviews, don't buy their shit magazine, don't go to their pathetic garbage website. And stand by, because as soon as I see that interviewer again, I am going to put him in a hospital. [Note: The Lydverket interview was actually conducted by a female reporter, Kristin Winsents, who is said to be one of the most experienced music journalists in Norway. — Ed.] That is a promise. I will find him too.

"Again, [the interview was] set up by Roadrunner [MEGADETH's record company] and left hanging by the label.

"Too bad the promo person was not there like I asked so this shit wouldn't happen.

"Thanks for nothing, [Roadrunner]."

In a separate posting on the MEGADETH forum, Mustaine reveals his disdain for the U.S. branch of Roadrunner Records for allegedly dropping the ball in regards to the promotion of the band's new album, "Endgame".

He writes, "I don't know what to say. How a record company could be presented with a worldwide critically acclaimed record, and that they can let it plummet down the charts in just four weeks into the hundreds, is inexplicable.

"I knew I shouldn't have done this. Why didn't I trust myself?

"I regret a lot of things in my life, but this is the most regrettable."

"Endgame" has sold around 72,000 copies in the United States since its release four weeks ago. The CD has registered the following U.S. weekly sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan:

Week 1: 44,696
Week 2: 12,833
Week 3: 8,640
Week 4: 5,583

Couldn't be the music or anything, nahhhh.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Too slow for my tastes in thrash and its the usual psuedo-superhero mustaine lyrics again. Some good riffs but nothing worth phoning home about. The solos are good but Id rather not listen throughout a whole album just for solos. Dialetic chaos is a really good opener though, it gets your hopes up on the album if you havnt heard any pre-release singles or anything.

The album is bad ass! theres so many riffs that get lost in the mix though! behind every one of those solos there is a good riff that you cant hear well.
Not even close to the 80s early 90s stuff but the best thing since that stuff!

Best Megadeth album since Youthanasia for sure, maybe even Countdown. Great production too. I love it! though Bite The Hand is a bit weak, apart from the lyric "When it's dog eat dog you are what you eat"... Genius!

Doesn't stop Mustaine being a bit of a bell-piece though... whoever made the comment about the sand in his vagina... spot on! :D
