His timining is well off at points and fills are a bit sloppy compared to Dave. I supose Dave is the strongest member of Slayer though.

Oft referred to, rarely really listened to. Maybe that makes them overrated. Basically, people pretty much listen to Damaged, enjoy Rise Above and pretty much leave their Black Flag experience there (possibly also listening to My War [the track] and Nervous Breakdown). My War's second side is so grimly nihilistic but its influence on hardcore has been minimal. Instead, its been important to other genres - such as sludge or grunge. I mean listen to the riff on that song (Nothing Left Inside) and listen to the song. And Rollins' voice. Its fucking horrible in the best possible way. Love it. Hardcore should have more Black Flag in it. It shouldn't just be a name-drop.

I had a feeling this could be the case. I'll take the time to listen to that album then. Sludge and grungy stuff gets me going so My War could be a gooden to check out then.

i just love how every far easterner has kung fu in thier genes. i wasnt expecting those kicks. also i thought the homegirl was gonna do a little better than expected but then she just learns the real meaning of r-e-s-p-e-c-t from a true master. the youtube comments are funny.i just had to post one on there too.

Us playing Super Computer at Bloodstock, it was way too fast but its great to know the sound was ok in front of stage because it sucked onstage!
