I was in hospital there for a while and found it to be alright. Once I got used to them (Brummie nurses) all calling me 'matey' all the fucking time, that is. Saying that, I did want to rail quite a few of them.

I think she was a general Londoner, but I don't recall a particularly strong accent. And she was one of the only nurses on the ward who wasn't blatantly a lesbian.

Essex girls are amazing. They're scum and I love them for it.
I remember one of the first times I started noticing girls properly - it was when I was about 10 and I was in hospital with pneumonia. Some of the nurses... fucking hell. Mind you, that all temporarily changed when one of them had to shove a suppositry up my arse - DID I NOT LIKE THAT!
