Yeah definitely, None Shall Defy (Infernal Majesty) is a monster album, really dark and riffy.

Infernal Majesty are another band that I've been meaning to check out ever since I was moving beyond the obvious of thrash. Any good?

I been waiting for it for quite a long time!

Infernal Majesty debut is fucking ACE,
but I havent check out their later release
cos I heard bad reviews said sounds like a boring florida death metal

for some other good but lesser know choice

I recommend Pentagram from Turkey [the debut is fucking in the vein of old Sodom/Destruction]

Allegiance, listening their debut recently, very nice thrash in old bay area style,
seems Australia have much more to offer besides Mortal Sin,
And i prefer Allegiance debut than Face Of Despair

The Hydra Vein album came out last year - Amazon has it. It has both albums on one disc. I was talking to Dan Ranger (their guitarist) about it the other week.

You see, I knew it was meant to happen. I never knew it did. I just typed it into amazon and it wasn't in their predictive thing but the release has come up. Fuck me, purchase! Get it with the HOD album, I think.

outrage is a very nice old jp band who strongly influenced by old metallica
Metallica fans should found that they are very fun to listen [or curse them for clone metallica]

D.A.M from Morecambe were extremely underrated and had 2 brilliant albums; 'Human Wreckage' and 'Inside Out'. When everyone was saying Xentrix were the next Metallica (or at least ripping them off), D.A.M were more like Flotsam & Jetsam to me.

Sabbat (UK) were another band that had a couple of good releases and were unusual at the time for having a female vocalist.

Hobbs' Angel Of Death (AUS) are worth a mention as well, seeing as their 2 albums are rediculously hard to find and they were a very influential band in Australia at the time.

DAM is good!
I prefer debut album more

Xentrix for whose advantage just bored the shit out of me
too bad they try too hard to follow metallica but they aint on that level

recently listening Dorsal Atlantica debut
which is good, Im not sure they are lesser known or not

one more lesser known band called COCKROACH from Germany
their 2nd album Temple of Mistery is Great
