Hey guys there's real football on tonight, Liverpool are away to Inter right now! Almost half time and 0-0, looks like Liverpool may well be going through.

Well, we're through. Tough game for 45 minutes but I honestly don't know what happened to Inter in the 2nd half though. In the first half they were closing us down well, pressurizing us and forcing us back but from the moment the whistle went for the 2nd 45, they looked out of ideas and had to rely on cock-ups from Aurelio to look interested.
Obviously the ref helped kill the game with the red card, and from the moment Torres scored there was only one result. But, for their first half performance alone, I thought Inter deserved a draw.

One other thing. I was under the impression that Ibrahimovic is meant to be a world class striker. We've played against him in four separate matches now (2 x Juve, 2 x Inter) and he's been utterly and completely useless every single time. Tonight, he even made Kuyt look good! Getting booed off by his own supporters was a bit harsh though.

i was watching it in the student bar with my scouse friend and continuously wound him up by pointing out how mediocre all the players were and how i thought Inter would win 4-1 :lol:

Not a nice game, but great goal and result.

I've seen Ibrahimovic play countless times, and to be honest he's never looked that good. I remember a pundit a few years ago calling him "the worst 'world class' player i've ever seen" and I agree with him.

Everton did bloody well to pull two goals back. Unfortunatly for them, Frey is bloody good.

Great result for Liverpool at the weekend. Not our own, Everton losing to Fulham! :dance:

Next up for us is the easiest game of the season. Man Utd at Old Trafford.... :crap:

Yes. It only slightly annoys me that when Leeds get media coverage above the normal, say if they're playing on sky or something, they ALWAYS go on for about 10 minutes about the past.

But then again, it's what all Leeds fans do. Basically, we can't really handle the fact that we're in League Two.
