I've only got Alice Cooper 'Super Hits', but I've just started listening to it again and it's so much bloody great fun, I fucking love it. I saw him live with a reunited Judas Priest at Gods of Metal '04, and it was unbelievable. It was like being at the theatre, he puts on such a great show, with basically a different prop in his hand for nearly every song. I think he killed a woman as well at one point. I'd love to see him live again.
Who loves Alice Cooper?
I love Alice Cooper

We had an AC DVD playing in our shop once. It was much like that scene in 40 Year Old Virgin where that shit DVD is on all the TVs.
Every song sounded the bloody same. He is infact, crap.

Id have to second that im afraid. I saw one of his concerts on BBC a couple of months back, expecting it to be great, i was very disappointed when i turned out to be lame amateur dramatics acted out to the strains of a band you couldnt see playing wispy insipid rock songs that went on for too long. I was surprised because all the AC songs that have been covered by bands sounded good i thought. Maybe it was their ultra weak guitar tone that let them down i dunno.

Don't make me come into the internet and hurt you.
There are far too many reasons why I think he's the best solo artist in the known universe so I'll just say this.
He's a fucking legend.
Anyone else off to watch him and Motorhead in November?

Good man. I'm going with a couple of mates and even bringing the wife along. I got her into AC by repeatedly playing the From the Inside, Welcome to My Nightmare and Alice Cooper Goes to Hell albums. Like me, she likes virtually everything he's done and can't wait to see the stage show with her own two eyes for the first time.
She's a bit dubious about Motorhead though...

I'm really going for Motorhead. One of our group that is going loves AC. I'm sure it will be a fun. A few beers and some Schools out.

I love Alice Cooper circa '86 - '91. I really like Hey Stoopid, the line ups on that album were immense.

I got into Alice back in '86 on the Constrictor album. Even though it's very poptastic, I loved every song on it, and for ages I couldn't stop singing Teenage Frankenstein and He's Back to myself on the way to school.
Raise your Fist and Yell is my favourite of his 80's albums. Perfection, basically.
Everyone slated Trash as a sellout when that came out, but again, I still liked it (although I'm Your gun is without doubt the worst song he's ever recorded). Trash is just a straightforward 80's rockout album, nothing more nothing less.
Hey Stoopid is ace. What an album. I suppose, if it does have a weak link, it's Dirty Dreams, but that's about it and I even son't mind it too much.
I also have to recommend The Life and Crimes of Alice Cooper 4 disc box set. Every self-respecting Alice fan must own this. It's as necessary as the Soundtrack to the Apocalypse Ammo box is to Slayer fans.

MOTORHEAD AND ALICE COOPER?!?!?!
how did I not know about this?!?!?
Alice Cooper rules, from the early stuff (Schools Out, Billion Dollar Babies, etc) through the 80s, (RYFAY is wicked), Hey Stoopid is the latest Cooper I've heard properly, but the bits of new stuff I heard was OK, typical cheesy rock at it's most classic!
