Pro Wrestling used to be really entertaining actually. It probably still is for some people but as more and more of the wrestlers that I thought were dead cool retire and/or die, it's pretty shite to hear about one of the last of those people killing his family and then himself.

Fox News is awful, as is a lot of American news. We are pretty lucky that we have BBC news, which isn't too bad at all, and is nice and impartial, most of the time.

That's just the way it needs to be watched. Saying that it's 'fake' or, more correctly, 'scripted' is besides the point. People like Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff have been pushing the Sports-Entertainment label for 10+ years and the traditional hang ups about admitting that Pro Wrestling is scripted are long gone.

If you want something cool to stare at with booze and kettle chips on a Monday and Thursday night, watch Pro Wrestling. Otherwise, watch Boxiing.

Channel 4 News is pretty good from what I've been told but it's on at such an awful time that no one can be fucked watching it. BBC News is what I watch but it's still not great. I used to watch ITN News but I can't stand the constant sensationalism.

Boxing i can enjoy, but not pro-boxing (No idea why). My Uncle does a little on the side and i sometimes go down and watch him, so far he has not lost a match.

I am just not a massive sports fan in general, though Nascar is fun. (Bit of a petrol head) Oh and the Red Bull air race.

But yeh as Iain said we all know its who wins and how is decided doesn't mean its on entertaining to watch. Plus as with music the better stuff is generally the stuff that isnt on TV all the time.

Theres plenty of "stiff" wrestlers out there who wont pull any punches so to speak.

Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson are superb too. I'm with Iain though, it's a quality sport and i've enjoyed it for years. I'm genuinely shocked at this and it sucks beyond belief.

I used to like Scotty Too Hotty, even though he was possibly the gayest wrestler ever.

I loved WWF as a kid, and I loved Chris Benoit. I used to sit down in front of C5 once a week with my best mate to watch the WCW show, since it was the only wrestling we could get. While other characters had plot lines and gimmicky costumes, Benoit was consistently devoted to raw skill and strength.

I dunno what's happened with him and his family, but I'm hoping it turns out that he didn't kill them. I'm a little shaken up about this news and having to see a childhood hero as some kinda killer just doesn't appeal to me.

Yes, wrestling is fake. All the dialogue is written by the actors and then confirmed by the show producers, all the plot lines and relationships are fabricated, and most of the action is faked. Who gives a fuck? It's 2 hours of non-stop violence and mayhem, it's fucking wonderful!
