An edit I did a while ago after the Champions League semi-final last year:
Great to see Barnsley go through against Chelsea, and also great to see Liverpool comfortably beating Newcastle Bring on Inter

I reckon Liverpool will sort Inter out again. I hope they do any way, I can't be bothered with Italians. Who does everyone support then? I support Chesterfield F.C. (League 2) and I'm quite partial to Glasgow Celtic.

Yeah, I know. The difference was we played them without our best players. We kept Carra, Torres, Gerrard & Reina on the bench and played Itandje, Leto and a few other fringe players.
Chelsea don't have fringe players. They have full internationals who would walk into any side in europe.
Barnsley for the cup. They deserve it.

Quite an unexpected day, to say the least.
Carlisle won though, 'cause we're 'ard.

Cardiff are beating Boro, what's everyone think of the "lesser" teams doing so well, and non the big four not going to Wembley this year?
I remember a Nirvana tune, 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' As much as I like Kurt Cobain. I can't have people like that coming over here, on smack, fucking saying that they hate themselves and they wanna die. That's fucking rubbish. Kids don't need to be hearing that non-sense.

i think it's great! However i reckon loads of shit "fans" wont watch the final because it wont have the big teams in, despite the fact it'll likely be a more entertaining game. The cup final last year was terrible

Yeah it would be a bit shite if either Manure or Chelski were left in it, and the final was one of them against Barnsley, resulting in a hammering. Remember Millwall from a few years ago, then again, Dennis Wise and his antics more than made up for that day! But it's good for the cup with what's happened this year, and this is coming from a Liverpool fan

Aye, Im not a big footie fan.... Im a arm chair Villa supporter, but its been great that the lower division teams have been pwning all the big name clubs.
I think its great that one might get to go to Wembley and play. Its far more intresting then watching MAN U,CHELSEA, THE GUNNERS or LIVERPOOL every other season.

Half time in the Rovers vs Brom game. 2 - 1 to Brom, and what a bloody good game this is.

Re: The Official Football Thread
Ended 5 - 1 to Brom. And truely deserved. Rovers we're so half harted on everything. Continously had a 'wtf happened?' expression on their face. Defenders looking to see what another player was going to do about it, rather than doing it themselves. So much play to be created aswell, but didn't tacklise. So yeah, gan on Brom son.
