Seriously. If you know nothing about this film, watch it in ignorance and be shocked.
Also, if you don't know 'what's wrong with Esther', Orphan is a surprisingly enjoyable watch. And Inglorious Bastards has a bit of a twist whilst being ridiculous and fun.
Inglourious Basterds (get the spelling right Caps!) is one fucking awesome film. The way Tarantino has taken history and taken a big hilairous poo all over it is brilliant, and done with good intentions and an amazing understanding of how great a slice of entertainment film can be. It's a not a big emotional Schindler's List madness about what really happened, it's just saying, look, let's have a laugh and have loads of Nazis get fucked over good and proper. Great. The best bit is definitely the bit where Brad Pitt tries to speak Italian. And also the opening scene. Seriously, WHAT an opening scene! I suppose there are a good couple of twisty bits in there, in a crazy Tarantino way - you literally just cannot predict what is going to happen. That's what I love about Tarantino, and that's why I didn't like Kill Bill, because it's the only one of his films that doesn't follow that... erm, I don't know what the word is I'm looking for... Idiom?
Idiom!
That reminds me, I think Monty Python & The Holy Grail actually has the best twist ending EVER. I nearly cried with unbelievable joy when I first watched that film and got to that ending!!
