Sounds like theyve been listening to impact is imminent by Exodus quite a bit, which i guess is no bad thing. The video was crackiing me up though, and the singer, I agree with Martin. He sounds a bit like a high pitched Schmier i think....

They're not bad. I've heard a hell of a lot worse. The singer's voice is a bit scratchy for me, but the riffing is certainly up to par.

I only know the very early stuff, but from what I've heard Necrodeath (and Ghostrider!) rule! Is the stuff after they reformed as good?

By the way, the best Italian thrash band is clearly Bulldozer!

i dont know much italian thrash and was pretty sure the scene over there was non-existant apart from the obvious bulldozer which i could never get into....Hyades are pretty good and i can tell they have improved on the 'wops still thrash' vid lol, 'no mans land' just looks like then standing around looking really unintrested, some good riffs here although quite repettitive at times.

Do I? Take a seat and ponder this: when James asked "Does the world need more thrash like this?", he was basically applying that question to 90% of the young Thrash bands in this scene. Because, let's face it, they too are competent at best. There's disagreeing, and then there's being a snob and insulting the majority of bands on this forum by questioning whether the world actually needs them.

I for one can't wait to read what he had to say in the upcoming Terrorizer special.

Well then you'd be disappointed, because whatever you may have read into my comment regarding one band, I don't see how it can be interpretted as insulting the UK at all.

I think I see your mistake though - you thought I meant they were not needed because they are competent at best, when in fact I was basing it on the style of thrash they play, which is very generic and unexceptional.
