Hey James, nice to see you on here!
I have an idea.. how about a gig in Bristol with Seregon, Hallowed Point and Rager?
You said you should be be able to sort us a gig with you guys and we wanna play with Rager too at some point so might aswell kill loads of birds with the same stone or something haha.
We're gonna be touring in July so do you reckon you might be able to sort something for maybe the 20th or 21st July? (Fri/Sat). That'd be killer if you're all up for it
SOUTHERN THRASH FEST IS GO!!!!
Moderators: James, Craig, Resilience Records
July sounds doable, let me look into it mate, hope to see you on the 25th! \m/

But if we don't know about these gigs, and nobody tells us about them, how can we possibly go??
@ Creeping Dave, July is so far away dude!!! We've wanted gigs for the last 2 months, and we need to gig ASAP really!
James, are there any gigs coming up soon with any free slots or anything?

Just look a bit harder mate, the scene in Bristol is bussling, theres a big 2 day band festival thing going on in March, go up to that, flyer your band, talk to other bands, give something for them to go on, setup a gig in your town, get all your mates there, bring an out of town band in and they will return the favour, if you have something to give then people will be more likely to return the favour.
I'm hoping to setup something on July 21st now regarding Hallowed Point's last message in which I have already e-mailed the venue etc.
Come up for the Onslaught+Evile gig i'm setting up, msg me if you need tickets.

We did play a gig with Pitiful Reign in Hobbits, Weston!!! The bill was a band short, but we had no contact with you guys at the time (although I'm sure we had already messaged you guys about gigs before then).. It would have been good to get you guys down for that.. The things is, now Hobbits is closed, it's gonna be a lot more difficult to arrange a gig, I'll see what I can do.. You guys up for some thrashing action then?? I could probs try and sort something out with a mate of mine who runs some small gigs in a function room above Senoritas bar!!!!
We're totally coming to the Slaughtvile gig, we all have tickets already too!!! Like we'd miss that!!!!

I'll second that! I actually meant to mention Seregon for this earlier in the thread but I don't think I did
Wasn't there originally gonna be 12 bands for this including a "big" headliner? But now it doesn't look like that is happening maybe there's a slot free? I don't know lol. Kilgore where are you?
And cheers James! Should be awesome if it goes ahead in Bristol then

Hey fellas hows it goin? Been away from the pc for a while on an extended masturbation session hahah!! Ok here's the score, there are now 12 bands on the fest as i've just confirmed the final one so it's full. Anymore would be ridiculous, but, i have a 2-day metal fest going on up in Bradford over August bank holiday weekend and if Seregon wanna play then they're more than welcome. With regards to the southern thrash action the headliner cant play unfortunately so GAMA BOMB will now headline. I will sort out the proper running order over the next month or so and sort equipment out properly, the only thing i will definitely require is another drumkit as there's a good chance that after 12 bands thrashin' on mine it'll be fucked afterwards so the FIRST 6 bands will use my kit and the last 6 will use another. I'll post on here about how long bands will have for set times but it's looking like 30-40 mins per band IF we have everyone being co-operative at the end of their set and clearing the stage as quickly as possible for the next band.
Let 'Em Burn would be up for the Bristol gig with HP and Rager too so if we can jump on then that'd be killer, we'll gladly share a van or mini-bus with the HP guys if thats cool?
Thrash on amigos.

O rly?
I knew I'd find a use for that again some day
Any chance of getting the rest up? If I remember rightly there was a short series of these a while back
What's going on with PA and sound engineering? I started a new job last week as a sound engineer, so I'd be up for helping out. At present I'm not confident enough to run the show, but we can see how well I'm doing nearer the time.
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,

Hmm, this makes me think I've probably met you at some point. Most likely at that gig. Did you stick around at the end? I'm one of the dudes that used to live with Matt back when that show was on, if you remember.

Hmm possibly... Yeah I stayed for a while afterwards, was the first time I met Atom
I remember meeting a guy that Matt lived with but I don't think it was at the Onslaught gig, was this when he needed beanbags for some reason? lol.
