The Snooty is a very good venue i admit but its the whole seating thing that pisses me off.

And there's no room for a proper pit as such, my vote is Leeds or Bradford.

Don't get a bloody big headliner like Venom or anything. I think the fact that it's the bands on here that make it special.


And if the Snooty Fox has seats, fucking get that. Sitting is for winning.

Last thing you wanna see when you're trying to whip up some rage is a bunch of herberts sitting down round a table talking amongst themselves and looking at you like you're disrupting their nice, quiet conversation with your balls out thrashings.

As for a big headliner i'm all for it but fill the rest of the bill with bands from here. It'll get the event more exposure in the metal press and also give some lesser known bands the chance to play with a big band and see what it's all about and make some good contacts etc etc.

Also the bigger the venue and headliner, then the bigger the crowd and exposure for the bands.

You could ask the bassist from Seragon about Onslaught as he is guitar tech for them i belive??!!

Although onslaught would be FUCKING INCREDIBLY AMAZING the problem is they dont draw a crowd when they play headline shows in tiny venues in the uk supporting the incredible killing peace....who knows what the new album will be like and whether they would help growth of the festival is debatable.

We are all forgetting that this is dave and lucis festival and also Steve has stated many occasions (especially over the weekend) that he wont do ti again hahahaha he was so stressed out on the sat morning after our burger king at like 10 am hahahha

Got sod all to do with being better. People were even sat on their arses when Seregon and H.O.D were playing and they were both ace.

Just boils down to the fact that people can't be arsed standing up to watch the bands, sitting is far more convenient.

Well of course it is. It's much comfier, you don't get knocked anyround and you can see the band easier. And you can keep your coat with you.

I reckon that they'd pull a good crowd to a venue like The Snooty or The Gasworks.

If the supporting cast is top drawer too (Mutant, Seregon, H.O.D etc etc) then you can't really fail, as long as the poster/flyer/internet campaign is full on then it'll all be delicious.
