Fair game
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Opeth - The Moor sounds like a metal version of the theme from the Dune movie

Exodus - Impaler is ever so slightly reminiscent of Ozzy - Crazy Train intro (or is that just me?)

Exhorder - Slaughter in The Vatican uses the a slow version of the Painkiller verse riff somewhere in the middle.

Riff in the beginning of Hirax – Call Of The Gods reminds me of riff from Slayer – Tormentor.

But it could be sick connection

Agent Steel - Back to Reign

Holy Terror - Debt of Pain

All riffs are identical, but the speed isn't.
The chorus lyrics are sometimes the same.

Mate, thats it! I remember I was listening to Steel and I heard the intro riff and I checked out Debt of Pain and was totally shocked, its exactly the same. Unfortunately I forgot to post it on here, cheers for the reminder.

There must be a connection between these two bands, the similarities in this song have to be heard to believed...

EDIT: Just found out that Kurt Kilfelt played in both bands.

There HAD to be a connection between these two bands, and I think that Kilfelt is the reason for it.

To be honest, I prefer the HT version, faster and the vocals are better.

There's a Head On song that totally rips off the end of The Great Southern Trendkill, I forget the name of it though
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,

Me too, man, the Agent Steel version sounds gay and the speed doesn't fit to the riffs.
