Next year will see the thrash revival break big and every bandwagon jumping emo kid will burn their black clothes and start dressing in demin cut-offs. Oh what joy. Let's hope not eh?
So UK Thrash bands, what lovelies can we be expecting from you in 2008?

We're writing an album. God knows when it'll be finished, we're about half way through it though (just about).
We're also planning on playing a lot of gigs, because this year was rubbish in that respect. The live show will be improved with... things we're planningg.

I think the bubble will burst prematurely actually. Spotted a snide dig at new thrash in the Terrorizer editorial this month! Guess thrash features will be limited now a total idiot is in charge of the magazine.
On topic, Deceptor are semi-looking for a full-time drummer (although we're trying someone out this weekend), and writing some more songs, before recording another demo at some point, which will be a lot more varied and a lot less thrash. Got a couple of choice gigs lined up for January and February, if we can get our line-up together. Split with Mutant may actually be out in about February.

(referring to Gallhammer) 'the band that will hopefully inspire multitidues of uncompromising, riff-crazed women the world over to get their bands similarly dirty; surely a more worthwhile and interesting prospect than the appearance of another thousand or so outfits hellbent on reviving the corpse of 80s thrash'

Stupid statement. What about Derketa, Gallhammer, Girlschool, etc? Not that many all-female bands indeed though...
