They changed their name to Zavvi and then the economy went tits up so they went bust.

I've still got a load of classic thrash albums but I've been an evil, evil pirater for a number of years now though. I'm awful.

I heard they deliberately changed the name because they knew it was heading for the rocks and didn't want to blemish the Virgin brand... might be wrong though.

I think you lot should club together and re-open Shades on Wardour Street. That place was the dog's bollocks for metal back in the mid to late 80's/early 90's.

oh dude,
suddenly think of HELLOWEEN
trust me
get the first album Walls Of Jericho + debut EP

you could forget about Seven Keys those thing
but their debut EP and first album is a fucking must have
their most aggressive heaviest fastest and thrashiest stuff
im sure thrashers would found themselves loving this Gem!

Yeah, Helloween are fucking good.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Well said BK, I love that first Helloween EP.

What a banger! And it features an all-time classic wail: "you will burn in HEEEEEEEEEEEEELL!"

I think that even on Walls of Jericho the shitty melodies started to creep in though, even if it is a decent album.

yes you right!
their debut EP is the fucking best, no doubt

the full length start to go soft
but it's still have some killer songs and worth to CHECK it out
and since those are packed into a single cd, it's fine

and then Seven Keys it's all changed
we got some happily ever after tunes like Future World
holy shit, I don't believe we will gonna have a Happy Future

The executives bought it of Branson to run it themselves so they had to change the name and trade as a different franchise. Badly timed with the credit crunch though so yeah....Plop.
