Cheers for Driving JK, very good show indeed. New bassist is class, the band were super tight and rocking! realised i haven't see Evile for aaaaages so it was cool to watch them again, forgot how much of a live pleasure they are to behold.

Oh you're very welcome Jimbo, yes it was a bloody corker. Evile are so brilliant live, it was really bloody good. Joel seemed to fit in pretty well up on stage with the guys - I'll admit it felt a bit weird when I first walked in the room during the first track and saw the 'new' Evile up on stage, and I did feel a pang of sadness, but it didn't take long to get used to it at all - which I guess shows how well Joel fits in with the guys. He's definitely doing a good job anyway, and even though I only met him very briefly he really did seem like such an amazingly nice friendly guy - the second he started speaking to me and Jamie I could see why they picked him, just a really cool, down to earth bloke. And it's just so amazing to see so many people going mad for Evile, I really felt so happy for those guys tonight seeing everyone go crazy for them! This is going to be a very good year for them, and they really bloody deserve it. Hooray for Evile!

I think they opened with it, I'm certain they played it. They were fucking brilliant as they always are. Class act. As always the singer was straight out in to the crowd talking and signing shit.

At the gig I thought Evile were a bit weak (for them). They certainly weren't as tight as when I last saw them at the Islington Academy. I think where I was standing was a bit shit for bass. After a few months I am sure it will all settle down and they will be back to the pure fucking thrash generating machine they have always been.

Great fucking night I think. Pretty packed as well.

Yeah they opened with it, and I bloody missed it cause I wasn't expecting them to start so soon and I was waiting for the cloakroom and then had to get a beer. They were awesome though, always a great band!

Evile were good I thought, still don't like either demolition or infected nation, they bore me. I wanted to hear more of the older stuff. Was nice to see my "Mutant friends" (2 guys who I see at Mutant gigs every once in a while) and seeing Dave (Virus) proper pissed and stumbling all over the place! Was a proper good night, bit hungover today but it's all good, was half an hour late for work though :eyes: lol

I completely forgot about The Fading. They were OK in a kind of Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal kind of a way. Not for me but for an opening band they had a lot of fans there.

Great show, I was pleasently surprised by The Fading, Warbringer and Evile were both great IMO, first but definitely not the last time seeing them both. Even managed to sell my spare tickets which was good, the guy down the front pushing his way around with a DSLR was a penis, I think he got caught in a pit though which was funny. :D

Haha, I think I bought your ticket off some old Irish guy. I managed to knock him down from 20 quid to 13 because everyone was saying it was sold out, then it turned out they were 12 on the door. Still, great gig, although sitting around listening to Fading fans doing pig squeals in the queue for hours wasn't fun. New bass player bloke is way better than I thought he'd be, Warbringer kicked arse and Evile were bloody amazing as usual.
