Yeah their early stuff is not really prog at all, just great epic heavy metal with cool vocals!

but on a serious note i think it is sadening that ODB was in and out of rehab due to the effects of drugs and then lost his life to drugs/heart failure at 35years old.
and yeah,i got wu-tang clan albums(the earlier,grittier,less commercial ones),so what
i like all types of raw,agressive styles of music.
although hip hop/rap doesnt have the talent as far as musicians playing instruments goes,it has one big thing in common with rock/metal,that it is very anti and for the people.(until they sellout and buy an mtv crib etc )but then havnt some rock legends who started from nothing sold out ie;gene simmons,ozzy osbourne etc(fuckin reality t.v shows 
)
theres similarities in both genres!
metal and rap were and always will be controversal genres of music shocking parents/governments/do gooders/religions/politicians and whole nations on a global scale etc.
