My Death covers (and a Sepultura one)

Postby Creeping Dan on Tue May 20, 2008 4:05 pm

I still have to do vocals from Back from The Dead and Zombie Ritual, what do you just think of these? HKR of HOD is gonna have a go at the solo for Zombie Ritual. Back From The Dead was a bitch to get because of this shitty demo quality, and i cant work out the words for it.

Zombie Ritual (best one so far, will have everything done soon hopefully. Also the only one with bass)

Pull The Plug (with vocals)

Back From The Dead

Inner Self

cool stuff, where was the bass in the Zombie Ritual intro though? :P

Pull The Plug was great, nice work on that one, vocals are cool too, only bit that wasn't there was that fat scream "It's all too LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTEEEE!!!!!!!!!" :P

Back From The Dead is sounding awesome

Yeh i couldnt get that bit haha. The bass is there in the intro. It plays just after the higher bit n from then on. I was sure it wasnt there in the recording, just the guitars at the very start. Thanks dude :D

I don't think I could either, it's such a horribly awesome scream!

Ah yeah there's the bass!!! I obviously wasn't listening properly first time around! By the way, the slow-down riff just after 1:10 is played a bit differently to that, if you care :P

No probs!!! :rockdevil:

if i'm not mistaken it goes (from the top of my head..) something like this:

Code: Select all
  * bar before     repeat this
D |---------||--------------------------------------||
A |---------||--------------------------------------||
F#|---------||--------------------------------------||
C |---------||-2-----------------4---3--------------||
G |---------||-2-----------------4---3--------------||
D |-4-3-2-1-||-0---------0-1-2-2-2---1------4-3-2-1-||

starts at the end of the bar before (you can hear it easily on the recording), I'm pretty sure that's right, fair enough that you dont wana change the recording, I know the pain of re-doing stuff, and it is pain :P

hope the tab's ok/ helps!

Didn't have time to say anything before coz I had to go to work.
The covers sound awesome. The Inner Self one is cool. I've wanted to cover that for years but I hate doing drum tracks for songs that aren't mine... It takes too damn long!

Thanks dude :D. I asked from the drums for ZR from Fat-Man-Inc.

Thanks for tabbing that out cos i think Cowert Chads (Covet Chaos) are gonna be covering it. Reason is, our drummer broke his hand and we are still iffy on some of our songs so theres no time to get sorted before the Zavvi gig, so we will throw in a cover.

Awesome covers.

How did you get the echoing vocal part in Inner Self? Sounded quality.
