Best cover in the world.

I really like this cover, but then I really like REM as well. They've done a cover of Pet Shop Boys' It's a Sin, which is pretty cool. Gamma Ray covered that as well, and my mate once said it sounds more gay than the original!

GW have also covered Maiden's Fear of the Dark, which is brill. It's often tagged as Cradle of Filth on P2P servers, so watch out. Speaking of which, Sentenced covered The Trooper, NOT Children of Bodom

A long time ago, when I still used to download stuff, I got an album called "A Tribute To The Beast", it's a Maiden cover album (covers of not by) with some good covers (and a couple of half-assed ones) by Iced Earth, Opeth, Sonata Arctica and Sinergy amongst others. Cradle of Filth do a decent cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name. I think there's a similar Metallica cover album called something like "A Tribute To The Four Horsemen", or something.
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Thin Lizzy's cover of Bob Seger's "Rosalie" I think is a pretty decent cover. It sounds really good, especially when they cut Cowboy song half way through it.

Second that. Also, since it came up, Cowboy is a kick ass song.

Just heard a couple of Motorhead covers. The first is of AC DCs "its a long way to the top" which is every bit as good as the original, and it could have been written for motorhead. The other is their version of enter sandman which is ....erm......well.... .....:wank:.

Well, it blows the Killswitch Engage attempt out of the water. It's actually pretty classy. Here's another one...
