Bollocks times a thousand. I have used several macs and they have broken down, got viruses and the software is exactly the fucking same just shinier.

At home, we have used macs for... about 10 years, and NEVER had a virus. Seriously. It's probably you bringing all your negative, grey, PC mindset fingers onto a mac keyboard and making it all dirty and aidsy.

I've used both for about 3/4 and yes they do get viruses, they are not as common but the same goes for linux. If you want a more stable OS with less commercial support you might as well get that. Why because you don't have to pay 2K for it.

Macs are ok, end of story really.

The debate can never be won really, Macs are good for their own reasons, PC's are good for their own reasons.

Having said that i would never buy a PC again, mainly due to the fact that newer intel macs can run windows and linux almost flawlessly whereas Windows cant very well (apart from linux).

Fantastic, as i said i may get a refurbed mac at some point. I don't have anything against them and they are A LOT more stable than windows. But that just doesn't justify the cost to me.

The refurbs are really good, my friend got one and it works/looks just like new and comes in original packaging and stuff...

We have a Mac at home and I really dislike it. I just hate it basically. Basically the only reason is that I'm not used to it and everything seems confusing. And I don't like the mouse. Fear change!!!

People seem to do far too many "fail", "win", or "x=fail", "x=win" posts for my liking, it's like a virus that has caught on (I am the pun and only).
