I have recently been playing...

Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja Master, Skyrim, Metroid Prime and Castlevania: The Adventure on Gameboy. All very good with Shinobi being my favorite at the moment.

I need to get Belmont's Revenge but I can't find at as it's too rare and expensive!

I've been playing Symphony of the Night again myself, I fucking love that one. Was Belmont's Revenge Gameboy or NES?

Gameboy, it's the way better of the two original Gameboy titles they released but as I said, rarer and more expensive. Symphony of the Night is easily a top 10, maybe top 5 game of all time for me. Hooked from start to finish.

Shinobi 3 is amazing, I played that for the first time a couple of months ago, and thanks to the wonderful joy of save states in emulators of joy, I was able to complete it. The level near the end with all the electrified floors and ceilings and such madness is one of the most horrible, disgustingly horrendous levels I've ever played. If I ever tried to play that level without being able to save the game after every jump, I think I would've ripped own legs off in frustration.

I found an amazing PS emulator called FPse for Android loveliness, and so have been playing MGS and FFVII again, mostly whilst doing a large number of poos. Nearly done with MGS, just finished the punch up with Liquid, which was most exciting. It inspired me to start playing MGS4 again recently, which is definitely the most amazing thing ever made, especially the microwave madness near the end. Unbelievable.

Yes, that last level is one of my favorite bits of platforming ever made! It's perfect because all the skills that you honed throughout the previous levels really come into play, great game design! One of my favorite bosses ever is in that game too:

Hydra, last boss of the Body Weapon stage...

I'm still stuck on Shadow Master, he is so damn tricky! At least this game is way easier than Shinobi 2.

I am also currently enjoying Sonic CD, it just got released on iPhone! I can see why some people say it is one of the best games in the series, I never had the chance to play it when I was younger because it was on the stupid Sega CD. Technology!

Way cooler than I remember, shame on me.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Yes! I'm been playing that game like mad too. I love it so much I bought it both the PS3 version and the Android version. It really it amazing, the Past/Present/Future thing really adds unbelievable replay value to the game, and also makes it incredibly hard, but in a very fun way. I still think Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the ultimate lord of all Sonic games, but Sonic CD is definitely either a close 2nd, or a close draw with Sonic 2! Amazing stuff.

Interestingly, the reason they've re-released Sonic CD is because they've made it into a kind of prequel to Sonic 4 Episode 2, which means that'll probably be next. I hope they actually try and make it good this time, and not disgusting and horrible like Episode 1. Urrgh. I want to be sick just thinking about it. What a fucking disgusting game. Bllaarghrgj.

Still not bothered checking out Sonic 4, think I'll avoid it entirely and stick to Sonic 2.

Spent all of last night playing Symphony of the Night, holy shitballs is that game good! Mightily infuriating when you're constantly walking around the place in search of a corridor you've not been through yet though

Good decision, it'll only make you puke everywhere. I haven't got any faith or hopes for Sonic 4 Episode 2, but the little optimistic boy inside me somewhere is very secretly hoping it might actually be good.

I've been going mental for FFVII and am now after the Huge Materia. Done Corel, now I must go forth to Fort Condor and play that stupid annoying strategy mini-game bollocks. Mini-games are the one thing I hate about RPGs. They're always rubbish. Even in FFVII. The motorbike and snowboard bits had awful controls and were horrible to play and more recently the digging mini-games in Okami send me berserk. Really annoying. For crying out loud.

I love you Tom!

Also Jon, I hope you didn't forget to steal the Warrior Bangle from the Eagle Gunner in Corel...
