I know there's a thread about this buried in this forum somewhere, but I can't be bothered to find it. I just found some excitement whilst browsing the Down forum, and this is my excitement:

"For those people messaging me here and via myspace, this is what I know.

DOWN III: Over the Under.
Release date - Sept 25th
Consists of about 13/14/15 tracks from what I can remember.
Last track is a 10 minute epic titled 'Nothing In Return', which Phils vocals are absolutely AMAZING.
There are about 2 songs written in memory of Dimebag.
1 song written about hurricane Katrina.
I actually did ask Kirk why it isn't just named III and he said it still is III, just like DOWN I is NOLA.
He also said that the face will still be featured in the artwork for the CD.

This album is going to rip you guys to shreds. Trust me."

Overblown anthems aren't Down's style. It's going to be a riff-heavy motherfucker of an album, I (almost) guarantee it.

I think it's silly that Phil feels the need to dedicate at least 2 songs to Dimebag. I know where you're coming from James. Just leave it alone now, it was 2 and a half years ago.
