I want the Republicans to win so that hyper-liberal butt-helmets who think that the War In Iraq is 'all about oil' and that the NRA is responsible for gun crime, i.e. people who like the Democrats, get snubbed. Economically, however, I'd be more inclined to vote for the Democrats if I could. I can't see myself voting for the Tories any time soon and the Republicans are like the Tories but x1000... sort of.

I thought that getting a black guy do be their candidate would well and truly fuck the Democrats this time round but it's looking like Obama is going to win. To be honest, I can't really be ringed with politics any more. I did it at Uni and met so many arseholes that blamed Bush, Blair and Brown for everything that I would rather just be completely unreasonable about everything and support wars against peoples who aren't white for no good reason.

If McCain won, he would probably die during his first term, than a woman, a gun toting, environment destroying, supremely ignorant (to the point of amusement) bitch who was only selected because of her gender would be the most powerful person in the world.

To be fair, just saying that you don't believe in abortion even under the most extreme circumstances is going to get you a lot of votes in the Bible Belt. I've heard how much of a complete gobshite she is myself, but it's not as if Obama and McCain aren't.

I hope Obama wins it. I couldn't be arsed about either of their policies - McCain just pisses me off. Every time I see him on television he says something incredibly gay and stupid.

This is also unfortunately my thought process as well. I tried to care about American politics, but i have enough of a job trying to remain interested in our own.

At the end of the day, we can't do anything about the end result anyway as of course, we're not eligible to vote, though the result will of course affect the planet, so in a way it is our business and what happens in America is also our problem. But as we can't vote then well... what more is there to say?

I think most people would rather Obama at the end of the day. I do not wish to see McCain or his bitch Vice President make it. I could rant about how stupid it is that Americans would vote for someone purely based on their looks but after having seen this video I really shouldn't be surprised:

I think anyone who is shocked by anything that has thus far transpired during the 2008 Presidential Election campaign needs to take a crash course in electioneering. At the end of the day, we're going to be lumbered with a President that the majority of the American public didn't vote for. No point complaining really.
