Fuck! My brother got me a ticket off a friend who works at stargreen. I'm gonna makemy excuses and get it passed on. I've seen Metallca recently and they were pretty fucking good (if ego-fools...). I don't feel so compelled as to pay the 40-odd notes and watch SHIT bands before them. I'll find better use for my money. Fuck it, probably be more worthwhile seeing a tribute act anyway.

I would rather spend my money and see testament instead. Fuck metallica they only play festivals or one offs, they are to big to give a fuck about doing a UK tour. They were always better indoors. I have seen them five times and will not make it a sixth time.

We can't play gigs at the moment, we're all taking anger management therapy and discussing our problems while at the same time writing and recording a lackluster album.

I've never seen Metallica and I never plan to.

I saw them at Earls court in 03, tickets where cheaper, the support band was Godsmack (in the where are they now section) boring but better than these ones for July, there was none of these kids who listened to Trivium and think the Black album is the first Metallica album....

I was there too. The best thing about that gig was that Metallica only played two tracks from St. Anger (Think they'd played 3 the night before). Thought the sound was awful. Hollow and echoey, the guitars seemed to have hardly any distortion at all and they spent the last half an hour twatting about with cover versions and playing each others instruments.
Pretty much decided that night would be my last Metallica gig.
