Because I know you're all desperate to find out what's going on in Tractor Country!
First of all, head over to our bandcamp page (www.kemakil.bandcamp.com), as I have now changed our "BLOOD REMOVAL MACHINES" EP to "pay what you like", which means you can download it for free. You can still pay for it if you like, but that's your call
We're still selling the CDs for £4 a pop at our gigs, and hopefully soon I'll have the physical ordering set up on bandcamp so the CD can be purchased online. We only have a limited supply left, so get in there fast! I don't know if we'll be printing any more in the immediate future.
BUT DON'T WORRY!!
The wheels are in motion to begin recording a new CD, hopefully at least 6 tracks, depending on how much cash we have. Budget on this one will be bigger, and the fruit of our loins should be a big leap forward from the first EP. Recording isn't likely to take place until September, with a release to follow shortly after. Again, depending on finances. We'll also be recording a new demo as well, so we'll be giving some of them away at shows as soon as it's ready.
Also got some gigs to tell you about coming up in July and beyond....
July 9th - Brighton (The Hobgoblin) - playing with Mutually Assured Destruction and Desolator. Two bands who I highly recommend!
July 22nd - Bury St Edmunds (Minden Rose) - with Rezinwolf and Fallen Humanity. Again, excellent bands!
October 28th - Ipswich (Royal Oak) - Supporting Hecate Enthroned. We're working on some miserable songs to try and fit the bill for this one
We're also working on sorting out a London date towards the end of the summer with some of the other bands who were cruelly dumped out of Metal 2 The Masses the past few months. Not that we're bitter or anything . I'll keep you posted on that one.
If you can make it to any of those, we'd love to see you, but seriously, come to Bury St Edmunds at your peril.
Not too much else to say, obviously we are now OUT of M2TM so we won't be playing Bloodstock, but that was a rather fancy pipe dream anyway. It was a fun ride to the semi finals and thanks to all of our mates that supported us along the way. We felt a little bit hard done by to be dumped out so close to the final, but I think realistically we probably got as far as we could have hoped to get.
The only other thing to say is BOOK US! We probably wont do any more gigs before Bloodstock other than those already booked, but if anyone wants us on a show after that then give us a shout. drop an email over to heavymetalbastard (at) live.co.uk and hook us up. DO EET!!
