Aye, Paul Gilbert is fantastic. His playing isn't really gimmicky compared to other shredders' and his fucking quick too.

His fingers are really disturbing though.

It's because he's six foot four. His fingers are like those of the Queen Alien.

I am not really one for the whole shredding aspect of guitar, but i have to say that PG is one of the few that i actually am a, impressed with and b, have some respect for.

The main reason for this is watching a few of his tutorial vids and interviews and the like he doesn't come across as a total pretentious wanker akin to Steve Vai or Micheal Angelo Baito.

Steve Vai makes the stupidest faces ever when he plays guitar.

I gave him the wanker sign at the London guitar show last year.
