Well, the drums were actually real drums on the last one, just with triggers making up for the lack of available proper microphones unfortunately. And the guitars and bass were re-amped at some stage, but I agree it's not the same. Also, we used a click track last time, but not this time. Quite a different production procedure actually... Much more enjoyable this time round!

I think relying on clicks, triggers and such things too much kind of ruins albums in a lot of cases. You need the human factor in the playing.

I did indeed think that the last EP sounded particularly marvellous, especially considering the triggers - it sounded way better than many other commercial triggered madness. But still, indeed nothing compensates for real boys and joys. People seem to have forgotten that's the reason rock is good, because it's real bloody goodness. Fucking hell, imagine if John Bonham or Brian whats-his-name from Tin Lizzy (not a spelling error, just pronounced the original Irish way) had triggers. For crying out loud, world!
