I watched it today, it was quite a good watch, I think they covered most the most pressing matters. Never heard of the Death Angel bus crash or Alice in Chains on the Thrash of the Titans tour before either.

That is what I meant by my earlier comment. I was in my late teens when that shit happened so there wasn't actually anything in the film that was news or revelatory to me. Being old sucks :(

Alice In Chains being on the Clash Of The Titans bill was probably a request by Megadeth after DA had to say no. Alice In Chains supported Megadeth on their UK tour for Rust in Peace. The Almighty were also on the bill so the US can think themselves lucky they didn't get them too on COT.

Alice In Chains must have stuck out like a turd on a pool table. Fair enough, I like Facelift and Dirt, but going AIC to Anthrax must have been a bit weird. Which tour was which again, Shug? Were AIC and Anthrax on the American COT or was it Suicidal Tendencies and Testament?

It was in running order

UK: Suicidal, Testament, Slayer, Megadeth (Slayer and Megadeth rotated headline slot)

US: AIC, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth (I think if going by the ticket stub shown on Get Thrashed although I think there might have been rotation involving Slayver, Anthrax and Megadeth on that one)

Did you see Testament at that gig? I thought you'd somehow managed to miss seeing them despite trying to on the Sabbath tour of '92?

Saw them at that show (just released Souls of Black prior to the tour). The Ingliston Exhibition Centre had terrible sound though so all the bands sounded pretty crap and it spoiled the show a bit. If I remember correctly I had to cadge a lift home off Scoob's dad that night cos my buddy Dunc that I went to the gig with decided to go up town after the show rather than trying to find a lift home. I didn't even know Scoob and Mark that well at the time so I am probably still owe them for that.

A round of sly hand-jobs should do the trick.

William Henry Taylor would pass for a fine name circa the Industrial Revolution. That's mad, though. I don't see the point in using the familiar form of a name on birth certificates. Imagine everyone being called Jimmy instead of James and Jack instead of John. MAD!
