You can't read and you look like a thug! How the frig did you wrangle that?!

I really have no idea. Everyone in there is incredibly well spoken and has a hair cut.

They didn't fucking employ me and I'm like some kind of hair cut, lingual deity.

Nah nah, I've ventured away from the 'horn in recent times but it's back with a vengeance now.

I've been reading alot of Edgar Allan Poe lately, aswell as a book on Sigmund Freud. What an odd man.

I don't know what to read next. I'm tempted to take on Lord of the Rings again, in the spellbound wake of The Silmarillion.

I have various other unread fantasy and SF books on the shelf, but I tend to grind to a halt with some of them unless they really grab me. I also need to finish HPL's Dreams in the Witch House (compilation) - I think Lovecraft is best taken in concentrated but sporadic doses, but I really need to read The Dream Quest..., Mountains Of Madness, etc.

that's coming up on my list. It looks pretty intimidating to say the least.

is it sci fi?

no and it's not a gay book about elves and pixies either. The only sci fi i've ever read is The Time Machine which is just brilliant.

Did you wish you had a time machine so you could have not moved to Ireland where everyone hated you?

I've read longer books, it's not even hard.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

War and Peace is mental though, and none of it makes sense. I also got it bought for my birthday by one of my friends at uni the year before last, I read a few pages and then though 'you can fuck right off'. I'll probably try again in a few years or something.

Keep in mind, Tolstoy's target audience was Russians. They're all bat-shit.

Yeah there might be something dodgy in the translation. When i was reading Crime and Punishment i didnt bother looking up the russian words which were explained at the back. I just guessed what they meant. I've probably got the plot completely wrong
